We play 6 vs 6 using indoor volleyball rules (including rotation, positions, and attack zones), but the training takes place on sand. This helps athletes develop indoor-specific game sense while enjoying the added physical benefits of sand training.
Training on sand builds strength, balance, and endurance faster due to the added resistance. It’s also lower impact on joints, helping reduce injury risk while improving overall agility and explosiveness when transitioning back to indoor courts.
Yes! The structure, rules, and tactics mirror indoor volleyball. Players will be well-prepared to join school teams or clubs, with added physical advantages from sand training.
No, this is a different style of training. While we train on the beach, our focus is on indoor game development. However, the experience on sand naturally improves beach skills too, so it’s beneficial for both pathways.
This class is designed for kids & teens, typically ages 7–18. We may split into smaller groups depending on skill level and experience.
Players should come in sportswear suitable for sand (e.g., tank top, shorts, sunglasses, and hat), and bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and a towel. No shoes are required, but sand socks are optional.
Absolutely. Our drills and gameplay scenarios are tailored to what school indoor teams expect. We focus on the fundamentals and strategies needed for team selection and performance.
We monitor the weather closely. If the session needs to be postponed due to heavy rain or lightning, we’ll notify parents ahead of time and arrange for a makeup session.
Yes! We welcome all skill levels. Players will be grouped according to experience so everyone gets the right level of challenge and support.
Our regular beach classes follow 2 vs 2 beach volleyball rules. This class is different—it’s designed specifically for players focused on indoor volleyball, using 6 vs 6 indoor tactics and strategies, just played on sand.
